Visa Applications for Tourists Participating in Guided Package Tours (up to 90days)
From the 10th of June, tourist visa applications for tourists participating in guided package tours with Japanese tour companies have been opened.
Eligibility
The new measure is available to people falling under the following criteria:- Holding an Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS) certificate applied for by a Japanese tour company (link in Japanese)
- Taking part in a guided package tour supervised by a Japanese tour company
- Resident of a "Blue" category country (such as Australia) (Ministry of Health link)
Required Documents
- Visa application form (*The signature must be in your own handwriting and the same as the signature on your passport.)
- One passport size photo(*Taken within 6month)
- Valid passport and one copy of passport (photo page)
- Your valid long-term visa for Australia if you are not an Australian citizen
- Your certificate from the Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS) certificate applied for by your receiving organisation ▶ ERFS system (Japanese only)
