  • Closure Dates for Christmas & New Years 2024
  • NOTICE:Suspension of the eVisa processing during Christmas & New Years 2024
Please be aware that applications will not be processed during the holidays, and hence no eVisas will be issued over this period.
Although you can still apply for an eVisa during this time, they will be processed in the new year.
We expect large numbers of eVisa applications after the holiday season, so be sure to apply as early as possible, as processing may take much longer than usual (currently 10 business days). Please allow ample time for processing. We do not provide expedited services.
If you are travelling to Japan during the holidays, we advise you to take a screenshot or print out your eVisa beforehand in case you have trouble accessing your eVisa digitally or other technical issues.
