Collection Hours : 9:30am - 12:30pm (Weekdays-Morning ONLY) - Not required Booking for Collection

The minimum assessment time is 2-3 weeks for a Working Holiday visa and 5 working days for other visas.

It generally takes longer if additional documents are required for further assessment.

In some cases, applications need to be referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and it can take

between 2 weeks and 2 months or more to complete the process.

There is NO priority processing service.

When we have accepted your application, we will give you a yellow colour receipt

which shows a unique VISA APPLICATION NUMBER (8 digits).

When the assessment is completed,
we will publish the "VISA APPLICATION NUMBER" in the PDF list below instead of calling the applicant individually.

If you find your number in the list, please come to our office at "Counter 5" to pick up your passport from 9:30am to 12:30pm.

If you cannot find your number, your application is probably still under assessment.

When you come to our office to pick up your passport, please do not forget to bring your yellow receipt.

We can accept cash only for payment. Please bring the exact amount of momey without change.

Your passport can be collected by a third-party if you have visited our office and lodged the application in person.
The third-party must bring your yellow receipt, his/her photo ID, its photocopy, and the visa fee if it applies.

* For Applicants who apply by Post:
We will call you when the assessment is completed and return your passport by Post.

Visa Fees (Cash Payment Only)

Please pay for the visa fee in cash(Cash ONLY) when you collect your visa after the assessment is completed.
Please bring the exact amount without change.

Visa fees have been revised on 1st of April 2018.
The new fees are applied to those who have applied after 1st of April 2018.
It is not applicable to applicants who lodged until 31st of March 2018 even though visas are issued
after 1st of April 2018.
