2013 JET Programme application forms are available from the Embassy of Japan, Consulate-General of Japan online. Hard copies of the application form will be available from the Consulate-General in Sydney soon.
Information sessions will be held for interested applicants in Ocotber. |

Application deadline
(NOTE: Applications must be submitted by close of business to the Embassy of Japan in Canberra. Do not send them to the Consulate in Sydney. Late applications will not be accepted). |
December 2012 - January 2013 |
Written applications are reviewed by the Embassy of Japan |
February 2013 |
Successful applicants are invited to attend an interview at the Embassy or nearest Consulate |
March - Early April 2013 |
April departure applicants are notified whether they have been selected as a short-listed candidate and of their placement. |
Mid to Late April 2013 |
July departure applicants are notified whether they have been selected as a short-listed candidate or as an alternate candidate |
Mid April 2013 |
April participants depart for Japan |
May 2013 |
Short-listed candidates are notified of their placement |
Late June – Early July 2013 |
Q&A Session and Pre-Departure Orientation are held for successful candidates at the Embassy or nearest Consulate. |
